We realised that along with better technological know-how, there is need for a good platform in order to enable people to express their views and spread information about recent happenings in the Wood-Working industry, hence this magazine. The brain-child of Aparna & Shanti Mansabdar, the first issue of Modern Woodwork was published in May 1999 inaugurated at Ligna+ 99 Hannover .
